Virtual Training: Urine Drug Test Best Practices

EOCCO has conducted a utilization review of urine drug screening tests and would like to provide training to staff and clinic managers on the medical necessity of these tests and cost-effective approaches for presumptive and definitive testing. EOCCO will host two virtual training sessions to discuss how providers can select testing to better align with:

  • HERC guidelines
  • DUI and Batterers Intervention Program (BIP) regulations
  • Specialty court/probation regulations
  • Cost-effective screenings

This training is intended for clinical staff who perform urine drug screenings and staff/managers who oversee clinic operations.
Training will be led by Chief Behavioral Health Officer Melissa Thompson, MA, LPC, CADC-I: mthompson@gobhi.org

The two options for training will be:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 10 - 11 a.m. Pacific Time
  • Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 1 - 2 p.m. Pacific Time

You will be emailed the meeting invite link the day before the training.

If you are unable to attend one of the sessions above or have any questions, please email Kayla Jones at kayla.jones@modahealth.com
