Oregon Health Care Interpreter (HCI) registry
The September 2024 Oregon Health Authority Health Care Interpreter registry file has been posted to the EOCCO Incentive Measure webpage under “Meaningful Language Access”. This file contains a list of all active OHA Certified or Qualified Health Care Interpreters in the state of Oregon. This file can be downloaded for your reference and records.
You can also search for OHA Certified or Qualified Health Care Interpreter’s on the Health Care Interpreter Registry webpage.
Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) provider training
The Oregon Health Authority requires all CCOs to provide Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) training to its providers on an annual basis. To help us meet that requirement, EOCCO has posted its provider FWA training on the EOCCO website. We are asking all clinics to review the training and complete and return the EOCCO Provider FWA Training Attestation to EOCCOCompliance@eocco.com.
Please note, if you have received this training through a provider workshop or other venue, you do not need to complete this process. If you have any questions, please contact EOCCO’s Compliance Officer, Nick Gross, at EOCCOCompliance@eocco.com
Upcoming training opportunities: social emotional health for children ages 0-5
EOCCO will be hosting two upcoming training sessions focused on social emotional health needs assessment and supporting children ages 0-5 and their families. These trainings will be sponsored by EOCCO (at no cost to the participants) and facilitated by the organization DC Zero to Three.
The training opportunities include:
1. Clinical training (3 days). For qualified mental health professionals who are (or would be) providing assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery for children ages 0-5.
- Dates: Oct. 28, 29 and 30, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. PST
- Maximum cohort size: 50 people
2. Overview training (4 hours). For qualified mental health associates, peer support specialists, leadership, administrators and support staff who are critical in supporting and developing the capacity to assess and work with children ages 0-5.
- Date: Nov. 7, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. PST
- Maximum cohort size: 60 people
If any clinicians or staff are interested in participating in either of these training opportunities, please complete and submit the DC 0-5 training interest form. You will be contacted by GOBHI with additional information and next steps on registering for these trainings.
Upcoming Timely Access to Care survey
EOCCO will be distributing the Timely Access to Care survey next month. Your participation in completing this survey is appreciated. We are continually working on ways to improve network adequacy, access to care and ensure that our members receive care in an appropriate and timely manner. This survey will help us identify member wait times for getting an appointment, wait times in the provider's office and other member access needs. We may contact you if we have questions about your responses. As a reminder, participating providers must provide timely access to medically appropriate and culturally responsive covered services. Please be on the lookout for that survey in November.
Important reminders: EOCCO full-benefit dual eligible (FBDE) members
EOCCO full-benefit dual eligible (FBDE) members are those who have Medicare as their primary coverage and EOCCO as secondary coverage. These members have access to health-related services (also known as flexible services), non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT), and care coordination through their EOCCO benefit.
Health related services
Health related services are non-covered services under the Oregon Health Plan (OHP) that can help impact members' access to care and improve their health. These services are in addition to covered services and benefits under EOCCO. There are two types of health-related services, flexible services and community benefit initiatives. Providers may ask EOCCO for flexible services that can help improve the health of their members. Some examples of flexible services include:
- Cooking supplies to help make healthy meals at home
- A gym membership if appropriate for a member, or
- Air purifiers for members with asthma or other respiratory conditions.
Members can start the request, but providers will need to approve and submit the request to EOCCO. For more information, please see the flexible services request form.
Non-emergent medical transportation (NEMT)
EOCCO FBDE members can receive free rides to appointments through NEMT services. Rides are available for covered services under OHP. Members can call 877-875-4657, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT to request a ride. Please visit EOCCO’s NEMT page for the Free Ride Guide, a list of local phone numbers and list of FAQs.

Social Emotional Health (SEH) learning collaborative
The Social Emotional Health (SEH) metric is currently a child-level metric that will be used to measure and incentivize improvements based on child-level receipt of clinically recommended behavioral health care services provided by CCO-contracted providers. Efforts will be focused on addressing social-emotional issues that have been identified.
Please join EOCCO and GOBHI for a SEH learning collaborative as we discuss the SEH metric! Topics will address Asset Map data, the 2024 and 2025 specifications, and engaging participants in conversation surrounding barriers and opportunities to improve SEH services across Eastern Oregon.
When: Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. PST.
Click here to register for this virtual event to learn more about the SEH metric! Please email EOCCOmetrics@modahealth.com with questions about this event.
Magellan Rx rebranding
Effective 10/1/2024, Magellan Rx formally rebranded to Prime Therapeutics Management. As part of this change, Prime Therapeutics Management will be updating their medical pharmacy provider portal link. After October 1, providers who access the portal will experience the new look and feel of the Prime Therapeutics Management rebrand. This portal update will not require providers to re-register and current usernames and passwords will remain valid.
We encourage providers to update bookmarks with the new site address. If you have any questions about this change, please contact providerinquiry@primetherapeutics.com.
